Earth Turns

Earth turns
Inside of every heart it burns
But would it turn without each head it holds?
Who knows
Does it slow?
When the tree falls, it’s your call
It’s your call
When it hits the ground, will you hear its sound?
Do you hear that sound?

Circus

Welcome to the circus where the party never ends
Welcome to the circus where your journey will begin
The streets are filled with twisted souls both enemies and friends
So much to be discovered on your mind it will depend
You’ll rise to sweet beginnings or you’ll crash to bitter ends
Welcome to the circus where the party never ends
You cannot be afraid of it but you cannot know it all
Keep walking down the tightrope and we’ll watch you as you fall
Where nothingness is everything and nonsense will enthrall
Your thoughts will bring you closer to your back against a wall
Close your eyes
Take you time
Feelin’ high, feelin’ high, feelin’ high
Don’t lose your mind
Take your time
Feelin’ high, feelin’ high, feelin’ high
Welcome to the circus where the party never ends
Welcome to the circus where the ring is never three
Take a deeper look and it will truly set you free
The covered eye will show you all you’ll ever need to see
Just realize that nothing here is ever guaranteed
Close your eyes
Take you time
Feelin’ high, feelin’ high, feelin’ high
Don’t lose your mind
Take your time
Feelin’ high, feelin’ high, feelin’ high
(Baby it’s alright, we’ll be just fine, enjoy the ride)
Welcome to the circus where the party never ends

Strange

Strange how we were the ones and the onlys
But now we are lonely just the same
Strange how we were so perfectly merry
But hearts for sharing in this game
Strange that we've come to this awful conclusion
Love’s a delusion for the sane
Strange that we cannot be happy together
That we cannot weather this rain
Stranger, stranger
What was your name?
Strangers, strangers again
Strange that we’ve know that the end has been nearing
We both had a feeling things had changed
Strange we can’t sit eye to eye with each other
Can't hold one another quite the same
Strange that the words were so easily spoken
My heart hasn’t broken quite this way
Strange how the end came before the beginning
The ice has been thinning every day
Stranger, stranger
What was your name?
Strangers, strangers again

Where You At?
01:57

Please tell me what you wanted me for
I don’t want none of that
Please tell me what you think you’re here for
No you can’t take it back
Please tell me how my words will help you
No I don’t know it all
Please tell me what you want me to tell you
Before you run you better learn to crawl
Open up your eyes
It’s been here the whole time
Where you at?
Don’t need none of that
Open up your eyes
It’s been here the whole time
Where you at?
Where you at?
Please tell me that you gave a little
Say it’s more than you took
Please tell me, why are hearts so brittle?
Better take a deep look
Please tell me how you thought you’d see it
Without using your eyes
Please tell me how you thought you could be it
Does it really come as a big surprise?
Open up your eyes
It’s been here the whole time
Where you at?
Don’t need none of that
Open up your eyes
It’s been here the whole time
Where you at?
Where you at?

Twisted Love

I’ve got a wicked love story like none you’ve heard before
A girl just like the others and the man that she adored
Her hair was red and lively, his a dull and deadly white
She brought him everywhere she went but something was not right
He was missing both his eyes
Surrounded by a swarm of flies
But he would never tell her lies
For her the man was just right
She called him Winston Fairfield and dressed him up each day
She’d sit him at the chess board and for both of them she’d play
Her mother could not understand, it made her father ill
But something in his gruesome stare it gave her quite the thrill
He was missing both his eyes
Surrounded by a swarm of flies
But he would never tell her lies
For her the man was just right
He was rotting from inside
And smelled of fish and cyanide
But he would never tell her lies
For her the man was just right

Earth's Turn

Slowly drowning
Don’t need saving
Under water
Now we’re wading
Well you’ve made your point
How can you avoid
Every last shred of the truth?
That’s on you
Slowly drowning
